Fields of application

Bitumenka-flex is used as a primer for the application of bituminous membranes, as a vapor barrier in insulations as well as for protecting concrete or metal surfaces from moisture (protection against oxidation).

• Drying: after 10-12 h (+20°C)
• Curing: after 2-3 days

Directions for use

The surface to be sealed/protected must be completely clean and dry.
Before use, mix content well.

Bitumenka-flex may be applied in 1-3 layers using a roll or brush.

Application on surfaces:

• 1^st layer: 1 part by volume of Bitumenka-flex is diluted to 0,2 parts of solvent and the mixture is then applied by brush(roller) or apply ready to use composition Bitumenka-grund.
• 2^nd and 3^rd layer: Bitumenka-flex is applied by brush or roller without adding any solvent in it.

Cleaning of tools

Tools must be cleaned thoroughly immediately after use using petrol or a solvent.

Consumption

• On metal surfaces - 0.15-0.25 kg/m² / layer.
• On concrete surfaces without reinforcement - 0.50-0.80 kg/m² / layer.
• On concrete surfaces with reinforcement - 3.00-4.00 kg/m² totally.

Packaging and storage

5 and 20 kg tin buckets.
Storage temperature should be between 5°C and 30°C!
At least 12 months from the date of production in sealed containers, in cool, dry and frost-free conditions.
Keep away from flame sources.
